Resilience. That is the word that comes to mind when I think of my guest today, Kandis Draw. Kandis was 30 yrs old when she found herself in a full-time role caring for her mom and also her younger siblings. Kandis shares her story, her caregiving challenges, her resilience, the ways she is rebuilding her life after caregiving, and how this has fueled her mission for advocacy.

About Kandis Draw
Kandis is an advocate, educator and writer. At the age of 30, she was thrust into the role of caregiver- taking care of her mom and younger siblings. Her mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer.
Kandis knows the deep struggles and challenges that young caregivers are faced with and shares her story to inspire and help others. She is also an experienced columnist and contributes to caregiving.com.
