Our Story
Why We’re Here
We all know and care about someone that is aging. We are here to be a resource and encouragement as you navigate the world with your aging loved one. These times can often feel overwhelming- we've been there! We will tell the stories, ask the questions, share the information and encourage those listening along the way. In every episode, our goal is to lead with empathy and end in hope. Our hope is to create a sense of community, inspiring a vision of life-long learning and engagement.
The Foundation
Nicole Will is a passionate advocate and dedicated to enhancing the well-being of our aging community by equipping older adults, their family members, and eldercare professionals with valuable information and resources. Born into a family of storytellers Nicole felt called to ask the questions and tell the stories. At her core, she is a collaborator and cheerleader for others by sharing the good work that they are doing in the world, and all for her favorite group of people- our elders.
As the founder of willGather, she continues her advocacy to enlighten and expand people’s awareness and knowledge of leaders and initiatives in the care economy space. She is the creator, host, and producer of the willGather Podcast: Navigating the World with Your Aging Loved One.
In honor of her grandma, she also founded Gigi Betty co. by willGather, a boutique gift shop raising funds and awareness for family caregivers. As a collective, we are a powerful force for good.
Nicole has over 20 years of experience in aging and eldercare services. Growing up, her grandma came to live with my family and became one of my closest friends. Inspired by this special relationship and passion, she went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services: Social Gerontology. She is actively certified as an Activity Director with NCCAP. She spent many years working as a Director at a well-respected and large senior living community overseeing the Therapeutic Recreation, Volunteer, and Spiritual Care departments while leading her sizeable team to a successful tenure and improved resident engagement success. She has served on the MAPA board and as an adjuvant faculty member at the University of St. Catherine. Nicole continues her hands-on approach and advocacy with a deep understanding of family caregiver needs.
