Bringing Older Adults & Their Families Closer Together
Bringing Older Adults & Their Families Closer Together with Paula Muller, Ph.D. and Founder of Sociavi Co.
There can be a communication and engagement gap between the majority of the population and older adults, people with disabilities, and people living with dementia. Mainstream technology is not always serving these demographics but with intentional design applied to the development of products and services, we can bridge this gap.
This is the mission of Sociavi, a platform specifically designed for those who are aging, physically challenged, and cognitively impaired. The platform promotes engagement and meaningful one-on-one connection avoiding social isolation and loneliness. Their mission is to provide the simplest way for older adults to maintain communication and companionship even when they’ve lost the ability to actively reach out by themselves.
My guest today is Paula Muller, founder of Sociavi. She brings her lifelong passion for technology and the desire to bring older adults and their families together. Thus SOCIAVI was born, meaning in Latin to “share” & “unite”, with the goal of keeping those aging in place and their families connected and closer together. Thank you, Paula, for sharing your heart with us and for your gentle spirit. I'm so thankful our paths crossed.
