After her grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2020, Jennifer Hendrickson was inspired to make a difference. She joined the Alzheimer's Association Minnesota - North Dakota Chapter as the Director of the Walk to End Alzheimer's - Twin Cities. Her work ensures that vital resources and support are accessible to those who need them most.

The Walk to End Alzheimer's Twin Cities is at Target Field from 8-11:30am on Sept. 21.There's a short program at Target Field with a few people sharing their stories, then the walk goes through nearby streets in Minneapolis. Our MCs are Karla Hult from Kare11 and Gabi Del Moral from Telemundo. This is one of the largest fundraising walks in the country, with around 8 to 10,000 people. Funds raised support local classes, support groups, education and resources for families, and advance research to end the disease. Our goal is to raise $1.5M

After her grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in early 2020, she was eager to join the team to make a meaningful impact for families, like hers, affected by the disease. Her dedication extends to everyone touched by Alzheimer's—whether it's a person living with dementia, their care partner, a family member, or a neighbor. Jennifer is committed to raising the necessary funds to ensure that critical resources and support are available to all.
